Being a dad, a full-time employee, and all the other fun and exciting things that life throws at you makes it hard to keep up with your hobby/passion.

The dream is to start making enough money from content creation to retire and create content full-time.

The issue is (Gaming + Work) x Family = Procrastination on content creation.

After a long day of work and then tending to the family, you only want to play and not be productive and create content or put the effort into a live stream.

I justify playing games by recording my gameplay in the name of content creation, and it's a way of tricking myself into thinking, "I am creating content! This is great productivity!" But really, all I get is hundreds of gigs of recorded gameplay and not content.

The missing key is to find the balance and discipline to game and create.

I like gaming with friends, record the gameplay, go back and edit, make shorts and TikToks, and then post. It reduces the pressure of streaming to a live audience and allows me to create highlights in a fun way. But, the issue is that I game too much and skip the content creation due to burnout or lack of time with all the variables. I need to find the balance and discipline.

So what's the plan? I am working on that... To be continued.
